Stacie Thompson is a volunteer advocate at the Cleveland Avenue location of the Eva Women’s Clinic. For about two and a half years she has been walking with patients through their appointments. Her warm smile and kind heart calm our patients who often feel anxious upon their arrival.
She has been married to Dave for 34 years and they have two boys, ages 25 and 27. They like to travel and have been to the French Riviera and Ireland. She works as an office administrator for a dental office
She fondly remembers a couple she met with who were both Christians and engaged to be married. Lots of difficult feelings arose as the women discovered she was pregnant. Then came the pain of realizing she had miscarried. Stacie’s heart broke as she watched them struggle through the roller coaster of emotions. She encouraged them in their faith and prayed with them. They did marry and God blessed them with peace and turned their grief into joy. Jerimiah 31:13.
Guiding people toward hope is what motivates Stacie to volunteer with us and other non-profits.
