Minimum Qualifications:
● Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
● Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position and sexual purity
● Agree with and be willing to uphold the Commitment of Care and Competence, Core Values, Statement of Faith, and policies of the center
● Be dependable and committed to pregnancy center ministry
● Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
● Ability to keep information confidential
● Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Publisher) and be
comfortable learning Microsoft platform, if unknown, as well as other computer programs used
● Have two years of experience as a volunteer or employee in a non-profit ministry environment or
● Exhibit strong skills in interpersonal communication
● Be able to provide spiritual leadership, discipleship, encouragement, and direction for the staff members and volunteers
● Be comfortable teaching in small group setting
● Physical ability to go up and down steps, be up and down from desk, carry large items etc.
● Be able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision
● Attend a church regularly
Preferred Qualifications:
● Have teaching or public speaking experience
● Two years of experience in an administrative position with direct experience in supervising others in an efficient and professional office
Essential Functions:
I. Primary
§ Learn and be able to present the 18-month VITAL Curriculum § Record and track client attendance
§ Make reminder calls/texts to clients
§ Schedule and communicate with program speakers
§ Recruit participants for VITAL program
§ Act as purchaser for VITAL program incentive needs (i.e., bus passes, gift cards, baby shower
items, etc.) and keep accurate count of receiving and giving
§ Communicate updates, needs, and changes to Client Services Director
§ Answer phone calls in a calm, friendly and welcoming manner; route calls appropriately
§ Document accurate and complete information for record keeping call-backs or texts
§ Schedule appointments in appropriate system and manner according to the guidelines and
procedures of The Pregnancy & Parenting Center
§ Log client and phone activity in the monthly log
§ Provide prayer and encouragement for VITAL staff, volunteers, and clients
§ Promote VITAL/The Pregnancy & Parenting Center in the community
§ Actively recruit new participants, strive to retain existing ones, and enhance community
§ Seek and provide info for new grants and grant renewals as needed
§ Attend monthly staff meetings and annual retreat
§ Attend and participate in shift meeting on working days
§ Assist volunteers as needed
II. Secondary:
§ Oversee childcare for VITAL sessions
§ Oversee healthy snacks/lunch for group participants
§ Maintain inventory of needed supplies
§ Perform duties of receptionist when needed, duties include but are not limited to:
  o Greet clients, keep them apprised of any delay in appointments, offer refreshments if available
  o Instruct client to read and complete initial forms and collect exit /feedback forms
  o Keep necessary staff informed of all unusual appointments or calls
  o Send and respond to appointment reminder communications
  o Manage the reception area; accept mailing parcels, vacuum and dust, empty shredder,
and trash regularly
  o Manage the waiting area; keep reading material appropriate and current, sanitize toys
as needed, dust and vacuum, adjust music, empty trash o Respond to digital inquiries in a timely manner
§ Recruit volunteer help for VITAL programs
§ Participate in major The Pregnancy & Parenting Center events, i.e., Banquet, Walk for Life,
Staff Development Day, etc.
III. Tertiary:
§ Be familiar with all policies and procedures
§ Be familiar with Pregnancy Support Network Team Values § Attend volunteer in-service meetings as requested
§ Receive and process paperwork for donations
§ Attend client services meetings
§ Attend staff meetings
§ Attend occasional conferences or seminars, if requested § Take client appointments:
  o Must meet training requirements to see clients
  o Yearly advocacy evaluations
§ Be willing and available to work additional hours as needed and/or requested
§ Be available for additional responsibilities to assist other employees as needed and/or
§ Assist in events as needed
§ Report to Client Services Director regarding building concerns or maintenance
§ Participate in maintaining and contributing to social media

Position Summary:

To serve as the Accountant within the Central Operations team of The Pregnancy Support Network.  The individual will work closely with the CEO as well as the Director of Central Operations, Board Treasurer and Executive Directors for all locations.  This position will be responsible for leading all of the Accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Monthly Financial Statements,  Grantreporting and Budgeting. A clear and developed understanding as well as past experience with GAAP, Excel, Payroll, H/R, and non-profit accounting is required.  

1.) Duties and Responsibilities:
a. Lead and set direction for the Accounting team, primarily Finance.
b. Communicate with the CEO, Director of Central Operations, Board Treasurer, Executive Directors, and team leaders regularly.
c. Understand the mission, vision and purpose of the organization.  Be able to articulate this with excellence.  Support it well and be a champion in their church home.
d. Oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Coordinator.
e. Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations for multiple accounts.
f. Prepare and oversee budget and monthly reporting for multiple grants.
g. Prepare monthly financial statements for the Executive team and Board of Directors.
h. Prepare annual budget.
i. Prepare for and oversee annual financial audit.
j. Conduct team meetings on a regularly scheduled basis.
k. Attend other meetings as needed.
l. Other Accounting duties as needed
m. Apprentice someone.
2.) Requirements
a. 5+ years experience in Accounting.
b. 3-5 years experience with Quickbooks or other accounting software.
c. Proficient in Excel and other programs in Microsoft Office Suite.
d. Good understanding of GAAP, and a solid understanding of debits and credits.
e. Excellent communicator both verbal and with the written word.  
f. Work with side consultants in Donor Development, Public Relations, and IT areas.
g. Occasionally work at one of the other locations.
