Five Fun Crafts to Try with Your Kids

1. Make some Homemade Play Dough. Check out this recipe for homemade play dough.
2. Paint some rocks together! Find some waterproof paint, rinse off a few river rocks from the garden, and give those pebbles a makeover. We like to add our painted rocks to the flowerbed beside the sidewalk. We’ve even seen other kids stop & point out our colorful designs. It’s fun for the whole neighborhood!
3. Create a felt board scene together. When I was little, I remember playing with felt dolls and making felt pictures. If you need some inspiration, check out this felt produce garden or this felt fairy garden.
4. Paint some drip-paint pots. It’s a little messy, but this self-explanatory craft creates some beautiful flower pots that you can use year after year.
5. Make an educational terrarium. My daughter made a dinosaur terrarium and added a battery-powered votive. It was a fun little nightlight all week!
